Steven LeMieux

Steven LeMieux earned his PhD in Rhetoric and Composition from The University of Texas at Austin. He teaches courses focused on composition, digital media, and sustainability. His research is focused on rhetorical theory, environmental and digital rhetorics, experimental design, and composition. He is currently working on a book project that argues for the rhetorical importance of interruption and the necessity of exploring new modes of relation in a world undergoing radical climate change. He was a recipient of the John C. Mascaro Lectureship for work that engages students at the intersections of composition and sustainability. He lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, two kids, and two cats.
