Ryan Shymansky

A Pittsburgh native and practicing attorney, Ryan Shymansky joins Pitt as a legal writing instructor in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. As a three-time federal judicial clerk, law review editor-in-chief, and active litigator, Ryan’s professional life centers on writing about law. Applying that experience to the classroom, Ryan works with students to develop the rhetorical, analytical, and composition skills that are essential to effective written advocacy.
