Molly Follette

Molly Follette is a PhD student in Film and Media Studies and English at the University of Pittsburgh. She received her BA in English at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her MA in Film and Media Studies at Columbia University. For her MA, she completed her thesis Corrosive Chateaux: The Dream Grounds of Jean Rollin’s Cinema which focuses on the metonymical union of marginalized bodies and heterotopic space. She is particularly invested in Horror studies, French cinema, Trash cinema, and the notion of a potential metric of paracinematic poetics that exists throughout the detritus of transgressive cinema.
