Jonah Jeng

  • Visiting Lecturer

Jonah Jeng is a Visiting Lecturer in the Film & Media Studies Program at the University of Pittsburgh researching at the intersection of film philosophy, eco-film theory, and digital cinema. His dissertation explored how film realism can help us become ethically, epistemologically, and affectively attuned to nonhuman realities in the age of the Anthropocene. A second interest of his is the history, politics, and (kin)aesthetics of action cinema, which he writes about in a column for MUBI Notebook.
